Avoid Overeating is something you need to learn in order to have success with any diet or fitness goal. We are all guilty of it though aren’t we? Whether we are at a company pot luck, buffet, or even at home, we may eat a little more than what we should. Drinking water before you eat is a great way to avoid overeating.

Healthy Eating Habit - Drink Water Before You Eat

A great Healthy Eating Habit is to drink water before you eat. One of the benefits of water is that it is a natural appetite suppressant. Drink a big glass of water about 10 minutes before you eat. This will help prevent you from overeating and you will feel satisfied much sooner. Be careful not to drink too much though. Doing so can ruin the meal for you.

Also drink a big glass of water if you are on the verge of straying from your diet. Water may not seem as satisfying as the pizza you are craving, but at least it will help kill those cravings and keep you on track.

Healthy Living involves knowing how to avoid overeating. Drinking water before you eat is a great way to do this.
