Sometimes we fail to stay motivated because we lose sight of our end goals. When we begin our
Healthy Living journey, our end goal is clear in our minds and we can picture ourselves benefitting from our hard work. We are determined and motivated. As time goes on, however, those goals seem to become more and more distant and we cannot see ourselves benefitting from our hard work and dedication. One way to stay motivated and keep your end goals clear in your mind is to reward yourself.

Fitness Habit | Reward Yourself
Stay motivated by rewarding yourself when you meet periodic goals. Rewarding yourself is an excellent healthy habit. Set weekly goals as you progress through your eating or fitness plan. For instance, set a goal to workout at least 4 times that week, or set a goal to avoid junk food for the entire week. Changing these goals from time to time will keep things interesting and help you stay motivated as well. If you meet your goal reward yourself. Be careful not reward yourself with junk food or a splurge meal. Instead, reward yourself with a book that you’ve been eyeing, purchase a new outfit, massage, trip, or whatever your heart desires. Try to ensure the rewards you choose are not going to cause you to fall farther from your ultimate goals.
