Do you ever have a lack of motivation to go to the gym? Have you ever found yourself ready to quit half way through your workout? Chances are the answer is yes. We have all been there. It is very difficult to stay motivated. A great way to stay motivated is to make a motto.

Inspiration is what keeps us going and is the key to stay motivated. A major difference between those that are successful and those that continually fail is that those who succeed hold on to their inspiration. When things look grim, they dig in, and get even more inspired and push through even harder. Making a personal motto that really means something to you will give you the inspiration you need to succeed and stay motivated.
My personal motto is “Keep Movin'”. It may not mean much to you, but it means a lot to me. And that’s the point. It doesn’t have to be complex or “deep”, it just has to mean something to you. Incidentally I chose “Keep Movin'” because I know that there will be times that I fall on my way to accomplishing my goals. Falling is a part of life. What you do after you fall is what is important. I choose to get up and keep movin'.

Stay motivated and encourage yourself using your motto. Repeat it in your head, plaster it on a wall or fridge as a daily reminder of your goals, or even incorporate it into your mp3 player as a reminder to push yourself as hard as you can.
